A Cozy Rainy Morning

The rain was pouring so hard this morning and it was so dark that I could barely see a thing and the thunder was deafening and the kids spent the night at their mammaw’s which meant we didn’t have to wake up early to take care of anyone, so I slept until 9 am and PJ didn’t get up until almost 10, and basically everyone should be able to sleep as late as they want at least once a month, especially when the weather is practically begging you to stay in bed. I can’t think of the last time it was this difficult to wake up.

Dark, rainy mornings where you have nowhere to rush off to or anywhere to be but home really are the best kind of mornings.
