A Productive Sunday at Home

Keep: Do you ever look around your house and feel overwhelmed with the sheer amount of stuff you have, and in the process, wonder exactly how you came to accumulate it all in the first place? This is a daily occurrence for us, but yesterday, PJ decided to do something about it. He went through three different closets upstairs that were filled with boxes and papers and totes and cleaned them all out, sorting them into trash, donate, and keep piles. It was an all-day event, and we still have so much more to do today, but just seeing all the progress happening yesterday was enough to make us both breathe huge sighs of relief.

Meanwhile, as he was working on that, I was working on tomorrow’s newsletter and picking up the house downstairs. Later in the evening, my mom stopped by and we talked for a bit before we sent her home with a bowl of chicken tortilla soup that PJ had made the night before. I will forever love these little pop-ins of hers.

Delete: We didn’t get to make it out to the farm yesterday, but the animals were taken care of since Dixie was staying out there this weekend. We are hoping we’ll be able to start moving some more furniture in this week!
